MCP Server — securely connect AI assistants to your panel
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or VS Code to enconf via the open Model Context Protocol — with read access to sites, databases, DNS and servers plus safe, non-destructive actions. Deleting anything via MCP is never possible.
Your panel, AI-readable
The MCP Server extension runs its own process that exposes 24 tools via the open Model Context Protocol — read access to sites, databases, DNS, domains/SSL, backups, FTP, mailboxes, subdomains, packages, cron jobs and servers, plus a handful of safe write actions. Destructive operations are simply not implemented over MCP.
- Open Model Context Protocol (JSON-RPC over Unix socket)
- Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP-capable clients
- Mostly read-only tools (list_*/get_*)
- Safe write actions: create DNS record, database, cron job, enable SSL
- No deleting — destructive operations are not implemented
- Access can be enabled per hosting package
What the MCP Server can do
Secure by default, controlled granularly via package permissions.
Sites & servers
Query sites, the server list, status and live logs — without opening the panel.
Databases
View databases and users, and create new ones — via an AI assistant instead of a form.
DNS & SSL
View DNS zones and records, create new records and enable SSL for a domain.
Domains & firewall
View the domain list and firewall rules — check configuration without intervening yourself.
Cron jobs
View scheduled tasks and create new cron jobs directly from the AI assistant.
No deleting, guaranteed
The tool set contains no delete operations — even a badly instructed AI assistant cannot delete anything via MCP.

Questions about the MCP Server
Can an AI assistant delete data via MCP?
No. The MCP Server’s tool set contains not a single delete operation — this isn’t a configuration option, it’s simply not implemented.
Which AI tools can I use with the MCP Server?
Any client that speaks the open Model Context Protocol — including Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and VS Code. It’s not a proprietary standard.
Can the AI assistant see passwords or secrets?
No. The tools return configuration and status data (sites, DNS, domains, database names, logs) — not panel secrets, database passwords or credentials.
Do I need to enable the MCP Server?
No. Like every extension, the MCP Server is off by default. An admin enables access specifically per hosting package.
